McSweeney's: E-mail Addresses It Would Be Really Annoying to Give Out Over the Phone.

Ah, McSweeney's lists. My friend Kevin Shay penned Pirate Riddles for Sophisticates. You have to be in the right mood for this stuff.

I want to shake Kevin Shay's hand. Or maybe buy him a shot of rum.
Have you read "Created in Darkness by Troubled Americans"? I was dying when I read it (and I was on the subway - got me more than my share of strange looks).
I love the Lord of the Rings DVD Commentary by Howard Zinn and Noam Chomsky (also found here: http://www.mcsweeneys.net/2003/04/22fellowship.html)
Those email addresses are not as bad as someone I've met who used to read out his address as "dot at dot at dot at" - and yes it works (if you turn the first at and third dot to the relevant symbol). Because of the current bots hitting the site I don't want to write it out explicitly.
Come on, Tim! It's (as Pam notes) a book!
Also check out Simon Rich's Ant Farm, another perfect collection of thirty-second nuggets you'll just read in one go anyway.
Q: What member of the royalty do pirates like the least?
