Shelf Browse live at High Plains

Shelf Browse lets your patrons see where a book sits on your actual shelves, and what's near it. It includes a "mini-browser" that sits on your detail pages, and a full-screen version, launched from the detail page.
See it in action at High Plains Library District. Some jumping off points:

- The Moosewood Cookbook
- Almost French : love and a new life in Paris
- A history of the world in 6 glasses
- American Gods

Got to say I just love this. It is such a nice concept. It will be particularly useful for non-fiction searching. But you know that.
This would be so awesome if this could be a "view" for LT.com collections...
It looks rather like that application "iBook" that Apple will use on the iPad (not sure if it's a shopfront like iTunes Store, or a view onto one's own book collection, or a combination of the two).
