Actually, the sad thing is, having scans of all the catalog cards isn't THAT much worse than today's online catalog systems (OPACs). Anyway, at least I can link to the page and assume the link will work an hour from now.

Well, now we know how William Saroyan's name is written in Russian. A silver lining...
I wonder if there's any OCR software that recognizes Armenian?
(Well look at that.)
Though I can't read a word of it, I can at least recognize the alphabet -- Armenian is the second-commonest language on signs in my neighborhood in Pasadena, between English and Spanish.
