BookFinder Report

The 2008 BookFinder Report is now out. The report, compiled by the staff of BookFinder.com, a cross-site used-book search service, tracks hot used books.

On top of the "Arts" section for the fifth year—Madonna's Sex. I'm not sure why. LibraryThing members rate it pretty poorly.

Then again, it's bound in metal...

Check it out: http://report.bookfinder.com/2008/

What does being on one of these lists mean? Kelly's I Go Pogo is there. One of my favorites, and certainly more deserving than Sex but is it really that hot an item?

I was working part-time in a book store when this came out and the manager told us we'd be limited to one if we wanted to buy it on the employee discount. We opened one to look and I remember thinking, "borrrrrring" right off the bat - it was seriously pictures where she tried so hard to be shocking that you were so aware that she was trying to be shocking that it was no longer shocking.

I didn't buy one - wasted investment, but I was a poor college kid at the time and already spending too much of my cash at the bookstore. =)
