I haven't laughed that hard in days! Thanks for reminding us all that librarians may be zombies, but they're the FUN kind...I guess I better go hide now....

I can't believe my taxes fund that! Not that I begrudge librarians their fun...
ahem - the Christmas party would be paid for by the staff, and I doubt they were rehearsing for it in work time. The place suffers from the gov't's Public Service "efficiency dividend," which means that they get slightly less funding each year in order to make them more efficient. This means they have to cut staff.
I think that's fantastic. I am SO renewing my Libraries Australia membership :)
