Excellent: David Weinberger at Google

David Weinberger went to Google and did his Everything is Miscellaneous talk. It's now posted. Unlike all the other talks I've seen—David has a dozen or so here and there on the web—they preserved the David's inimitable, often hysterical, "slides."

Recommended—no essential—watching for librarians, information architects and so forth.

Thanks so much, Tim. I'd read a couple of reviews, bought the book, and looked at one interview, but the last wasn't nearly as lively as this talk with all the slides. Well worth the hour to watch it. My only question now (as a confirmed fiction reader who can't stay too long with non-fic.),is, do I really need to read the book? As with a lot of important and paradigm shifting non-fiction books, I feel that I have the gist and don't need more elaboration. Maybe I'll donate it to my school library.

Great talk. Have to add this to my wishlist. (If I had one!)

Thanks so much for linking to this. It was very entertaining and has got me interested in a whole new concept that I'd never spent a moment's thought on before and, even better, a new and entertaining non-fiction author to read. *wanders off to buy books*
